Rafasshop, a Spain-based textile wholesaler, faced significant performance challenges with their highly complex Magento store. Their setup included multiple stores, domains, languages, and heavy customizations that required enormous CPU resources, causing their most complex product pages to load in around 3.5 seconds. The vendor, LiteSpeed, provided a solution using its LiteMage Cache product.

LiteSpeed's solution utilized ESI hole-punching and private caching within LiteMage to publicly cache most of a page while handling user-specific data separately. This allowed pages to be assembled entirely from cache, drastically reducing backend load. As a result, Rafasshop saw page load times for complex products drop to under 0.5 seconds and was able to downgrade its hardware from a 32-core server with 128GB RAM to an 8-core cloud server with 16GB RAM, significantly cutting costs while improving performance.
