LiteSpeed Speeds Up XenForo Pages load within one second on huge, high-traffic site

LiteSpeed helped ForoMTB, Spain's most popular mountain biking forum, which was experiencing extreme performance issues. The high-traffic XenForo site, with up to 3,000 concurrent users, suffered from severe server load spikes above 30 and page load times of up to 30 seconds using Apache with an nginx reverse proxy.

The solution was to install LiteSpeed Web Server via its Plesk extension. LiteSpeed's event-driven architecture instantly reduced server load. Combined with subsequent MySQL optimization, this brought load down below 10 and ensured pages loaded within one second, even during peak traffic.
