Avon partnered with LiSA when COVID-19 made its usual in-person conventions impossible, forcing the social-shopping brand to find a way to bring its community events online while still enabling real-time audience interaction and a smooth path to purchase. As a long-time community-based business, Avon needed a digital solution that could preserve the energy and participation of its brand representative gatherings.
LiSA helped Avon launch virtual conventions and later expand into regular live shopping on Avon.com, using live shopping events and hybrid event support. The results were strong: 17,000 brand representatives joined the two virtual events, engagement reached 90%, sales totaled $1.3 million, and nearly every product sold out. Avon then continued with up to four live shows per week, doubling average sales per show to €200K, reaching 50% average chat engagement, and generating up to 43% social sharing.
