Stratusphere helps U.S. Government Agency Optimize Largest Desktop Transformation Project

DH Technologies worked with a U.S. federal law enforcement agency on one of the largest desktop transformation projects in history, helping plan a virtual desktop infrastructure for 55,000 users, including 35,000 concurrent users. The agency needed to move workers from physical to virtual desktops while improving performance, simplifying support, and maintaining access to sensitive information.

To support the rollout, DH Technologies used Liquidware’s Stratusphere FIT, Stratusphere UX, and ProfileUnity. The 10-week assessment collected data from more than 46,000 machines, produced more than 150,000 pages of information, and identified more than 6,000 processes running on agency desktops. Liquidware’s tools helped uncover network latency, unused software, and unauthorized applications, while also supporting desktop design and ongoing monitoring for the new environment.
