Quicker Logins Means More Learning Time for Barking & Dagenham College Students

Barking & Dagenham College needed to improve very slow student logins that could take as long as 20 minutes, especially across a mixed environment of virtual and physical desktops. The college worked with Liquidware to address the problem and used Stratusphere UX to find the underlying host-level issues, along with ProfileUnity FlexApp to better manage user profiles and applications.

Liquidware’s ProfileUnity FlexApp and Stratusphere UX helped the college reduce login times to a minute and a half, with the improvement applying to both virtual and physical desktops. The solution also made folder redirection and profile management easier, giving students a more consistent desktop experience across campus.
