Harper Macleod LLP, a leading independent Scottish law firm with 350+ virtual desktop users, was upgrading its operating system across its physical estate while also rolling out VMware Horizon for agile workers. The firm needed a way to migrate user profiles, reduce login delays, and deliver a consistent experience across physical, virtual, and mobile desktops.

Working with Liquidware Labs partner Capito Ltd, Harper Macleod implemented Liquidware Labs ProfileUnity™ to manage profiles and desktop settings across Windows versions. The firm reported more stability and an identical end-user experience whether users worked in the office or remotely, and more than 45% of users could now log in, open Outlook, and send an email in less than one minute, compared with more than 80% previously reporting login times of more than five minutes.
