Children’s Therapy Center, a pediatric health services provider, relied on virtual desktops for nearly all employees but ran into serious Outlook performance problems after moving from an on-premise Exchange Server to Microsoft Office 365. With 125 virtual desktop users and non-persistent desktops, cached mailboxes were slow to load, sometimes took 20 or 30 minutes to download, and were then discarded at logoff, disrupting therapist productivity.
Liquidware Labs helped CTC diagnose the issue and implemented ProfileUnity to manage user profiles and support Outlook caching more effectively. With ProfileUnity in place, Outlook loaded much faster, desktops stayed intact and ran more smoothly, and Liquidware Labs support helped CTC identify a Chromebook-related profile issue so email worked properly for those users as well.
