Tyson Foods saves over millions of dollars by streamlining their warranty process using Liquid UI

Tyson Foods, the world’s largest publicly traded food company, needed to improve fleet maintenance and warranty management across its operations. Vehicle mechanics found SAP work order creation confusing and time-consuming, leading to poor data quality, delayed shipments, limited visibility into maintenance, and costly warranty tracking issues. Tyson turned to Liquid UI for SAP GUI to simplify SAP plant and fleet maintenance processes.

Liquid UI streamlined Tyson’s SAP screens by combining work orders, notifications, odometer readings, parts, labor, time confirmations, and warranty alerts into easier role-based workflows. The results included fewer breakdowns, better preventive maintenance, faster claims handling, and $4.3 million returned through the warranty process over six years, plus more than $75,000 saved by decommissioning the legacy vehicle system. After success in 42 shops, Liquid UI was expanded to plant maintenance and materials management for 8,000 users across Tyson’s operations.
