Lufkin exceeds $1 Million in annual savings by eliminating paper and phone processes using Liquid UI

Lufkin, a subsidiary of Baker Hughes, needed a better way to manage maintenance and service work across its plants and field operations. Maintenance staff were relying on paper notes and phone calls because of limited connectivity, which led to duplicate data entry into SAP, poor visibility into work orders, and costly errors. Liquid UI helped support these SAP Plant Maintenance and Service Management processes with offline access.

Liquid UI implemented Liquid UI Offline along with Liquid UI for SAP GUI and Liquid UI Server to streamline work order creation, updates, time confirmations, and goods issues directly in SAP, even without network connectivity. By eliminating paper and manual phone-based processes, Liquid UI improved visibility and productivity, optimized maintenance and fault repair workflows, and delivered more than $1 million in annual savings, while boosting maintenance staff productivity by 100%.
