JCB Overhauls SAP Transactions: GuiXT Used To Reduce Man Hours and Redundancy—Decreases Time Spent In Data Entry

JCB, a major manufacturer of heavy construction equipment, faced significant challenges with its SAP environment. Users were overwhelmed by too many steps, fields, and tabs in essential transactions, leading to data entry errors and a high demand for expensive, time-consuming training and ABAP programming support. Seeking to eliminate this drain on resources, JCB turned to vendor Liquid UI and its GuiXT solution to simplify its SAP workflows without a major implementation project.

Liquid UI implemented its GuiXT Input Assistant and Designer to streamline JCB’s SAP screens. This eliminated the need for custom ABAP programs and was deployed without disrupting daily operations. The solution significantly reduced manual data entry and errors, which in turn eliminated the IT time previously spent on researching and fixing issues. JCB achieved a strong return on investment through increased user productivity, the elimination of redundant man-hours, and cost savings from avoiding expensive consultant fees.
