Fairfax Water improves revenue and data integrity by mobilizing and customizing SAP PM using Liquid UI

Fairfax Water, one of the major water providers in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, needed a better way to manage SAP Plant Maintenance processes in the field. Using a wired-only SAP system, staff relied on paper printouts, handwritten notes, and outdated spreadsheets, which created slow workflows, poor data visibility, errors, and revenue loss from inaccurate time confirmations. Liquid UI helped address these challenges with Liquid UI for iOS.

Liquid UI mobilized and customized Fairfax Water’s SAP PM environment so field personnel could access SAP anywhere, view work orders and notifications on a dashboard, scan barcodes, enter confirmations directly, and update data in real time. This removed paper-based steps, reduced keystrokes and manual errors, improved billing accuracy, and increased productivity across maintenance operations.
