A Liqid Case Study
Large IT Organization faced the common data center challenges of budget pressure, space constraints, and poor server utilization. They needed a high-performance one-socket server architecture that could improve utilization, reduce acquisition costs, and lower total cost of ownership without sacrificing capability. Liqid, working with Dell Technologies and AMD, addressed this need with a composable infrastructure solution built on the Dell EMC PowerEdge R7515 and AMD EPYC 7002 Series processors.
Liqid implemented its composable Gen4 fabric technology on Dell Technologies infrastructure with AMD EPYC 7002 Series processors to deliver a fast, no-compromise single-socket server platform. The solution provides up to 64 cores, PCIe 4.0 connectivity, and significantly higher compute and storage performance for demanding AI and HPC workloads, enabling the customer to right-size IT resources and improve overall server efficiency. The case study highlights industry-leading performance and over 140 world records for the AMD EPYC 7002 Series, though it does not provide customer-specific numeric results.
