HACA Leitern Lorenz Hasenbach, a German manufacturer of sophisticated ladder systems, faced a challenge in its sales process. Creating quotes for its wide variety of custom-configured products was a laborious and time-consuming task that required extensive expert knowledge of structural, legal, and safety standards. To address this, the company turned to vendor Lino for a solution involving Tacton Sales Automation.
Lino implemented a rules-based online configurator with 3D visualization, known as Lino® 3D web, which automated the sales process. This solution merged with the company's existing Tacton Design Automation system. The implementation ensured error-free, compliant quotes and accelerated the order registration and quote generation process by a factor of six, while also providing a significant boost to new business through the intuitive online tool.
