Case Study: Tootonic achieves automated, efficient warehouse operations and scalable growth with Linnworks

A Linnworks Case Study

Preview of the Tootonic Case Study

How Tootonic experienced significant growth using Linnworks automated inventory and warehouse management

Tootonic, the trading name Character, is a UK online retailer that has grown into a £53 million business selling character clothing and accessories. Rapid growth exposed weaknesses in their manual processes—spreadsheets and paper-based warehouse jobs led to lost stock, poor location visibility and difficulty onboarding temporary staff—so Tootonic partnered with Linnworks, initially using its automated inventory and order management from 2011 and later adopting the Linnworks warehouse management module.

Linnworks delivered an integrated inventory, order and warehouse management solution (including the warehouse management beta introduced in 2019) that replaced paper processes and tied stock control, picking/packing and dispatch into one platform. As a result, Tootonic gained real-time stock visibility, multi-location management, better reporting for picking and packing, faster onboarding of temporary staff, automated dispatch and time savings—outcomes that have increased operational efficiency and given Tootonic the confidence to scale into new marketplaces with Linnworks.
