Macdaddy Music, a specialist online seller of guitar equipment since 2005, was held back by manual inventory and order processes across its website and marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Walmart and Reverb), which caused oversells, constant back‑end updates and heavy reliance on spreadsheets. To address this, Macdaddy Music moved from ChannelAdvisor to Linnworks to use Linnworks' automated inventory and order management platform.
Linnworks deployed centralized multi‑channel listing, inventory sync and a QuickBooks integration that automates order imports, price and quantity updates, and marketplace connections. The result: overselling issues were eliminated, manual Excel work and back‑end updates disappeared, customer service incidents fell, and Macdaddy Music gained the operational confidence to scale—Reverb is now its second‑largest sales channel and the business is positioned to expand into new marketplaces.
