Direct Plants is a family-owned Norfolk nursery selling outdoor plants across eBay, Amazon and a direct website, managing some 10,000 SKUs with up to 1,000 in season at any time. Manual multichannel workflows led to inventory errors, overselling and missed sales during peak periods (up to ~500 orders daily), so Direct Plants engaged Frooition and adopted BigCommerce with Linnworks to address their order and inventory management challenges.

Linnworks was implemented to automate inventory syncing, SKU updates and order management (including barcode scanning), streamlining multichannel operations and enabling faster, more accurate fulfillment. The result was elimination of oversells/undersells, freed-up management time, and scalable capacity to handle spikes — including a fourfold sales increase in 2020 and peaks around 500 orders per day — positioning Direct Plants for continued growth.
