Knot Models, a toys and hobby models retailer, had to rapidly adapt when COVID-19 stopped Amazon from fulfilling its non-essential FBA orders. As the company shifted from being 100% Amazon vendor/FBA to a hybrid FBA and FBM model, it faced stalled cash flow, thousands of unshipped orders, and the need for a better way to manage several thousand SKUs across a growing warehouse.
Linnworks provided the inventory management foundation Knot Models needed, maintaining stock levels, feeding data into their multichannel system, and supporting sales, replenishment, and purchasing decisions. With Linnworks, Knot Models reduced order errors, improved warehouse picking for new staff, and scaled operations to 300–400 orders per day with 3,000–4,000 SKUs, while preparing to grow further to 10,000 SKUs.
