Strengthen The Strategic Planning Of A Brand’s Communication Agency Through Social Media Analytics

A private wealth bank commissioned its communications agency to strengthen strategic planning by using social media analytics. The goal was to craft more engaging, relevant messages and deliver them at the right moment on the right channel for three targets: B2B institutions (industry associations), B2B intermediaries (wealth management advisors), and B2C potential customers active on social media.

Linkfluence combined automated analysis from its Social Data Intelligence platform with a manual strategic study of one year of French‑language web data (nearly 30,000 posts), focusing on Twitter and LinkedIn and benchmarking five top competing banks. The project produced competitor best‑practice insights for LinkedIn and Facebook, the top 10 most discussed banks and top 10 influencers, segment‑specific conversational triggers, and a social‑media‑integrated communications plan with a prioritized list of expert influencers — outcomes the agency has since adopted for other clients.
