VF is a US$11 billion apparel and footwear company with more than 30 brands and a regional sourcing HQ in Hong Kong overseeing operations across many Asia Pacific markets and roughly 1,500 sourcing employees. VF Asia faced recruiting challenges from operating across diverse locations with limited local talent pools, relatively low employer visibility among candidates, and the need to build a talent network in sourcing and supply-chain roles.

To address this, VF Asia used LinkedIn Recruiter, Job Slots and a LinkedIn Career Page to access an international candidate pool, proactively source specialists and strengthen employer branding. Within a year it filled about 20% of open roles (including senior specialist positions), significantly reduced hiring costs (the LinkedIn package paid for itself 5–6×), maintained time-to-hire and candidate quality, built a talent pipeline and enabled HR to deliver more strategic value.
