LinkedIn Helped Reduce Cost Per Hire by 30% in 2014

Worldpay, a global electronic payments company processing over 26 million transactions daily and employing about 4,500 people, faced low employer awareness in Singapore. Catherine Schlieben, Director of Recruitment, set out to build a stronger talent brand and hire 10 corporate support managers in six months to establish Worldpay as an employer of choice.

They brought recruitment in-house, launched a LinkedIn Careers page for Singapore and Asia, and ran targeted ads plus a Talent Direct campaign that sent 2,500 video InMails. Results included being ranked the #2 employer in Singapore (LinkedIn Talent Brand Index), a 62% jump in followers in the first month (growing from 10k to 20k in 2014), cost per hire down 30%, time to hire reduced 25%, career page views up eightfold, InMail open rates >20% with 32% of opens responding, and 69% of new hires influenced by LinkedIn.
