The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), a leading accountancy body, faced the twin challenge of attracting specialised talent and keeping its workforce current amid rapid technological change. Roles requiring technical accounting and other in-demand skills were hard to fill, and the organisation needed a stronger employer brand and targeted training to remain a workplace of choice.

ISCA adopted a proactive recruitment and learning strategy using LinkedIn Recruiter (since 2017) to access a larger talent pool and speed hiring, and LinkedIn Learning (since 2022) to embed continuous development from day one. The approach has delivered measurable results: one in 10 new recruits comes via LinkedIn Recruiter, technical hires are made about a week faster on average, 90% of staff have engaged with LinkedIn Learning, and employees have completed 5,114 courses and videos—popular titles include How to Research and Write Using Generative AI Tools and High-Stakes Communication.
