Nova Systems, an engineering services firm that expanded from Defense and Aerospace into Energy, Utilities, Communications, and Transportation, needed to quickly find highly skilled, niche technical candidates who matched its culture. Nova shifted to a social recruiting approach using a LinkedIn Career Page—featuring photo galleries, employee perspectives, and customized content for multiple specialist talent pools—to target and pipeline the right candidates. The page allowed recruiters to respond quickly to strategy changes and improved engagement with passive candidates; Nova’s first LinkedIn hire helped land a major contract and recruiting became more nimble and effective.
