Lotus Cars was in the midst of rapid change—new products, fast hiring and a system-wide rollout of SuccessFactors—when its small L&D team needed to quickly engage 1,300 colleagues, shift from classroom training to digital delivery, and overcome negative perceptions of performance management. The challenge was to make learning accessible, relevant and scalable without large internal content-creation resources.
Lotus adopted LinkedIn Learning and Hub, building blended learning paths that combined off‑the‑shelf content with short bespoke modules on SuccessFactors and performance conversations, plus gamification, targeted campaigns and action-based learning for shop-floor teams. The approach drove strong adoption and impact: 99% licence activation, 70,293 video views (4,417 hours watched), nearly 200% above recommendation targets, improved engagement and transparency, and measurable gains in productivity and performance-management uptake.
