How HERE used LinkedIn to engage the business and take talent acquisition to a whole new level

HERE is a global location data and technology platform with 35+ years of mapmaking experience that needed to scale talent quickly to support fast product growth. Faced with the “great resignation,” an understaffed Talent Acquisition team and particular shortages in development roles, HERE needed to increase its talent pipeline and accelerate introductions to candidates.

HERE partnered with LinkedIn to secure an Enterprise license with unlimited Recruiter Seats and launched a Talent Champion programme that trained employees to reach out using provided templates and candidate lists. The initiative mobilised 200+ Talent Champions working with 40 recruiters, produced higher response rates (≈40% vs 25% from recruiters), helped over 50% of interview-stage candidates be engaged by Champions, cut time-to-fill for hard-to-find technical roles by up to 30%, and enabled rapid hiring efforts like a 2,500-message outreach to support a major interview blitz.
