GN Store Nord Refines its Employer Brand with LinkedIn

GN Store Nord, a more-than-100-year-old global leader in hearing aids (GN ReSound) and headsets (Jabra), operates in 90+ countries with over 5,000 employees. With seven major businesses across the US, China and Europe—each with local HR and recruitment teams—Global Talent Acquisition Manager Martin Arvidsen needed to align campaigns and social investments to present a unified employer brand and generate more interest in career opportunities.

In May 2014 GN launched a six-month LinkedIn pilot in the US: it consolidated 11 Company Pages into one parent page with six localized Career Pages, set up a recruiter team and began using LinkedIn Recruiter. The pilot delivered six hires in six months, grew Company Page followers from 8,000 to 25,175 in nine months, achieved full ROI by Christmas 2014, and provided repeatable processes and metrics the business has since rolled out globally to improve recruiting efficiency and employer branding.
