Boohoo, a global online fashion retailer with around 5,000 employees and 13 brands, faced a competitive talent market and heavy reliance on recruitment agencies (which accounted for 45% of hires). The company’s goals were to increase direct sourcing, reduce recruitment spend, raise employer brand visibility, and improve the candidate experience.
Boohoo partnered with LinkedIn’s Enterprise Program, using Job Slots, Career Pages and Recruiter Licenses plus tailored training to upskill its in-house team and move to direct sourcing. The result: a 95% reduction in agency spend, time to hire cut from 45 days to 20 days (about 55% faster), and a 97% increase in brand awareness alongside higher application and engagement rates.
