Aquent Gymnasium - Customer Case Study

Aquent, a staffing firm specializing in digital designers, developers and marketers, faced a growing skills gap as clients struggled to find candidates with up-to-date technical abilities. To address this challenge, Aquent created Aquent Gymnasium, a free MOOC that trains marketing and creative professionals in in-demand skills such as responsive web design, UX fundamentals and jQuery.

Aquent developed intensive online courses with industry experts and, after a successful internal pilot, used LinkedIn paid media to reach targeted audiences at a lower cost per lead. The program scaled from one course to multiple concurrent offerings, produced a pipeline of job-ready candidates who can opt into Aquent representation, and strengthened Aquent’s brand as an educator and partner to clients.
