Georgetown University’s Gelardin New Media Center needed a cost‑effective way to keep staff current on rapidly changing digital tools—off‑site training routinely cost more than $1,000 per person and was disruptive to operations. The center adopted lynda.com (initially lyndaPro for staff, then campus‑wide lyndaCampus) to provide on‑demand video training and downloadable exercise files.
