Ellie Mae, a Pleasanton-based provider of the Encompass® loan-processing platform with about 1,000 employees, faced the challenge of building a culture of learning as its workforce rapidly grew. Leadership wanted an on-demand, enterprise solution that would tap employee curiosity and position learning—ranging from technical and soft skills to personal interests—as a meaningful benefit.

After piloting LinkedIn Learning, Ellie Mae rolled out the platform to provide personalized, data-driven course recommendations by role, skills and interests. Building on prior use of Lynda.com, the solution has boosted engagement and given L&D a scalable way to develop skills, support continuous learning and reinforce company culture.
