Australian broadcaster supports workforce with lynda.com learning

The Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) is a hybrid-funded Australian public broadcaster of 1,100 employees delivering multilingual TV, radio and digital services. To move away from classroom-heavy training and support a diverse, 24/7 workforce, SBS implemented a new LMS (MyCareer Online) but needed a high-quality, media-rich, on-demand course library with single sign-on and progress tracking to enable just-in-time, employee-driven learning.

SBS rolled out lyndaEnterprise integrated with its AICC-compliant LMS so courses are searchable and launch from the LMS while reporting activity back for monitoring. Bite-sized chapters, time-coded transcripts and mobile access supported rapid skills building (Adobe tools, mobile app development), fed leadership and business programs, and gave SBS scalable, cost-effective learning with measurable usage and gap insights.
