Large Public Transit System Displays Real-Time Translation of Transit Information with Lingotek Drupal 8 Module

A large state public transit system needed to deliver real-time Spanish translations of rapidly changing, time‑sensitive information—schedules, bulletins, status reports, delay and weather announcements, LED board content and mobile app updates—to better serve its Spanish‑speaking riders.

The agency deployed the Lingotek Inside Drupal 8 Module integrated with Lingotek’s cloud‑based TMS, enabling translation, localization, updating and publishing in a single workflow. As a result, the Spanish site went live just two weeks after the English launch and now provides continuous, real‑time translation of alerts, schedules, routes, fares, news and email updates so riders can plan trips and receive timely transit information in Spanish.
