Nobina, the largest public transport operator in the Nordic region, faced the challenge of training its 7000 bus drivers with a static, printed handbook. This method was unengaging, made it difficult to track comprehension, and was inefficient for their large, geographically dispersed workforce. They partnered with the vendor Lingio to transform this material into a modern, digital learning solution.
Lingio implemented a mobile-based, gamified learning platform to convert the handbook into interactive courses. The solution featured bite-sized lessons, storytelling, and in-app translation into over 100 languages. The results included a highly engaged workforce that appreciated the flexible, modern training. For management, Lingio provided a trackable coaching portal to monitor progress and ensure all employees were up to speed, significantly streamlining the entire onboarding and training process.
