The trade union Kommunal, with 500,000 members, sought an innovative solution for providing vocational Swedish language training to its members as part of its EU-funded 'Get Ahead' project. Their goal was to help non-native speakers enter and integrate into the Swedish labour market more effectively.

Lingio partnered with Kommunal to provide its mobile-based, interactive Swedish courses featuring gamified, bite-sized exercises. The solution allowed participants to learn at their own pace. The results were highly positive, with 70% of the project's 500 participants taking a Lingio course and a remarkable 94% of survey respondents stating they would recommend Lingio. The courses contributed to fewer workplace misunderstandings and helped employees feel more confident and integrated.
