Lineate implemented a solution using Claude Opus 4.8 integrated with Amazon Kiro, a spec-driven agentic IDE. This allowed every change request to begin with a detailed, reviewable spec and implementation plan created by the AI. The results shifted senior capacity to decision-making, automated routine refactoring against approved specs, and introduced automated UI validation with Playwright to catch issues pre-deployment. This provided a complete, auditable paper trail for every change, which is essential in a healthcare setting.
