Case Study: Catch streamlines complex projects and teams with Linear

A Linear Case Study

Preview of the Catch Case Study

Streamlined complex projects and teams

Catch, a Boston-based fintech founded in 2017, set out to automate taxes, health insurance, and retirement for independents in one app. As the company’s projects grew more complex across engineering, design, operations, engagement, and compliance, it needed a way to keep teams aligned and maintain strong control over interconnected work. Catch uses Linear as its central project management tool.

With Linear, Catch created a flexible but structured workflow that connects teams through a single thread of work. The Roadmap release gave them one place to track all projects, monitor progress by team, and spot momentum or potential overruns, while linking Figma designs, GitHub pull requests, Notion specs, and Intercom conversations together. The result was better coordination across regulated, fast-moving workstreams and a clearer view of what is within or outside the team’s control, though no specific numeric impact was provided.
