Salt Lake City, Utah's capital, had relied on IBM Cognos TM1 for budgeting but struggled with low user adoption, slow data entry, manual security fixes, and frequent returns to Excel. To avoid the time and expense of a custom TM1 overhaul, Salt Lake City selected Limelight Software to deliver an out-of-the-box, Excel-like interface and improve the budgeting user experience.

Limelight Software integrated its solution with TM1, provided hands-on training, and deployed quickly (October 2016), giving users an intuitive Excel-style front end.
