PriceSmart, a multinational membership warehouse club headquartered in San Diego, faced a growing localization challenge as e‑commerce traffic expanded during the pandemic. With members across Central America, the Caribbean and South America and content in both English and Spanish, translation became a bottleneck amid multiple technology systems. PriceSmart chose Lilt for its localization technology, AI and connectors to build an end-to-end global experience and scale translations across channels.

Lilt implemented integrated workflows and connectors to send and receive content for translation quickly and at high quality, enabling faster turnaround, consistent translations, and the ability to handle increasing volumes. By leveraging Lilt’s technology and team, PriceSmart reduced the translation bottleneck and gained a scalable localization process to support new initiatives like its mobile app and Private Label expansion.
