Northwest Laboratory partnered with LigoLab during the COVID-19 pandemic to help Florida scale statewide testing for long-term care residents and staff. Faced with the challenge of rapidly collecting, processing, and reporting a massive volume of tests across thousands of facilities, the lab needed a fast, reliable direct-to-consumer testing workflow supported by the TestDirectly portal.

LigoLab implemented TestDirectly as an end-to-end testing platform covering self-registration, requisitions, specimen collection, reporting, and follow-up. The solution enabled Northwest Laboratory and the Florida Department of Health to move quickly, reaching 100,000 COVID-19 test results in just two weeks and supporting a broader program expected to exceed 150,000 collected and processed tests.
