Zoku is an Amsterdam-based hotel concept designed for traveling professionals who need a home-office hybrid for long stays, combining private lofts, social spaces and an open kitchen with hotel services. The challenge was finding a point-of-sale system that matched Zoku’s minimalist design and flexible service model while being simple and intuitive enough for both staff and short-stay guests to use for self-service, room charges and multilingual interactions.

Zoku implemented Lightspeed Restaurant across iPad POS terminals, a Digital Menu Card and a Kitchen Display to create a seamless hotel management system. The solution supports both self-service and full-service workflows, integrates with room charging and kitchen operations, and enhances the guest experience while staying true to Zoku’s design and operational needs—delivering smoother service, greater flexibility and a system that “works for” staff and guests.
