A Lightspeed Case Study
Will Leather Goods, a Portland-based maker of high-end leather bags, apparel and housewares that sells through boutiques and retailers like Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, shifted from wholesale to retail in 2012 and now operates two stores plus e-commerce. The company needed a point-of-sale system with multi-store capability, easy Apple compatibility, and the ability to consolidate inventory and sales data across locations as it planned further expansion.
WILL selected Lightspeed for its user-friendly, Apple-compatible platform and OnSite reporting. Lightspeed provides centralized inventory access, real-time sales tracking across stores, customer profiles for purchase history and warranties, and remote reporting that gives the owner actionable insights—improving service, simplifying repairs, and enabling smarter expansion toward new markets.
