A Lightspeed Case Study
Waxman House is a fourth-generation, family-run menswear and formalwear shop in Montreal, operating at the same Avenue du Parc address since 1927 and now also featuring an espresso bar and barber shop. Owner Billy Waxman, proud of his old-school retail roots, wanted to modernize operations but found POS systems intimidating and needed a flexible, user-friendly solution that fit his traditional workflow.
Lightspeed worked with Billy to simplify its Retail platform—building custom, color-coded, alphabetically organized buttons and enabling iPad functionality—while providing hands-on support from a dedicated rep. The result is a tailored, easy-to-use POS that respects Waxman House’s heritage, streamlines day-to-day operations, and gives Billy confidence to embrace and grow with the platform.
