Case Study: Two Monkeys achieves streamlined, customer-focused operations with Lightspeed Retail

A Lightspeed Case Study

Preview of the Two Monkeys Case Study

Two Monkeys reduces manual tasks with Lightspeed

Two Monkeys, a Sydney-based bike shop founded in 2011, sells premium bikes, accessories and repair services while cultivating a local cycling community across two locations. As the business grew, owners Dayne Smithett and Lester Ramos found themselves wasting time on disconnected systems and manual processes and wanted to spend less time on administration and more time with bikes and customers.

They implemented Lightspeed Retail, a cloud-based POS that provides real-time inventory, sales and work-order visibility on iPads and a single system for all staff. The unified platform automated updates, prevented stock errors, surfaced customer purchase and service histories for personalized service and pricing, improved team efficiency, and freed the owners to focus on growing the brand and strengthening customer relationships.
