North Star is Montreal’s first dedicated pinball bar, founded by Justin Evans, Marie-Lyne Tarabulsy and Adam Kiesler on St. Laurent Boulevard. The owners wanted to revive the lost art of pinball with a carefully curated vintage arcade experience, while also needing a flexible, easy-to-use point-of-sale system that could handle bar service now and adapt if they expand to table service or open tabs.

They implemented Lightspeed with two POS stations and cash drawers along the bar; staff learned the system quickly and operations have been smooth. Since opening, customer response has been phenomenal, the bar runs efficiently, and the software gives the team confidence to scale or change service models as the business grows.
