Lachute Golf Club, a nearly 100-year-old multi-course club in Lachute, Quebec, wanted to move beyond an archaic golf management system after General Manager Benjamin Painchaud joined in 2017. The club turned to Lightspeed and its golf-focused tools, including Lightspeed Golf, Retail, Restaurant, Accounting, ChronoPitch, and the Business Intelligence Module, to modernize operations and improve sales.

With Lightspeed, Lachute connected course, retail, restaurant, and ecommerce data in one central system, making customer updates, tax filing, and targeted season-opening email campaigns much easier. During COVID-19, its ecommerce store helped the club recoup 100% of expo sales and generated enough revenue to cover the grounds crew for up to six weeks, even while the course had no golfers.
