Accurately design fall protection systems without a draftsperson

Sayfa Group, a global provider of industrial access, height safety, and fall protection systems, needed a way for sales teams and installers to create accurate KOMBI system designs without relying on a draftsperson. The existing paper-based estimation and CAD-dependent workflow caused long quote cycles and inconsistent deliverables. To address this, Sayfa engaged a project that used the LightningCAD framework to build a browser-based 2D/3D configuration tool.

Using LightningCAD, the team delivered a web configurator that automates Sayfa’s paper workflows, renders full 3D designs in-browser, exports professional PDF deliverables, and generates ERP-ready parts lists with real-time cost feedback. The solution cut estimation time from over four hours to about 30 minutes, trimmed production lead times by 3–4 days, improved quoting consistency, and delivered an estimated ROI of at least 80%.
