Upliv launches menopause telehealth platform with Lightmatter after $8.4M seed round

Lightmatter partnered with Upliv, a telehealth platform focused on perimenopause and menopause care, to address the challenge of building a comprehensive virtual care solution for an underserved segment of women's health. The goal was to empower patients with a platform that could provide personalized, holistic support throughout their unique health journeys.

The solution involved Lightmatter providing product strategy, UX/UI design, and software development to build Upliv's platform. This included a robust patient portal with self-service tools, a provider admin portal, and continuous iteration based on user research. Lightmatter implemented features like a simplified care onboarding checklist and detailed provider bios, alongside analytics tooling for data-driven optimization. The result was a successfully launched platform, with Upliv securing $8.4 million in seed funding and completing a pilot program with plans for an enterprise-wide rollout.
