Lighthouse Systems rings in the changes for Plastibell's production operations

Plastibell Group, a clean‑room medical device manufacturer operating multiple injection‑moulding plants in France, needed precise, part‑level traceability and fast detection of any cavity or tool degradation across dozens of machines to meet strict quality and regulatory demands. To solve this, Plastibell Group trialled Lighthouse Systems’ Shopfloor‑Online MES to capture cavity identities, measurement data and operator actions across its injection moulding and assembly processes.

Lighthouse Systems implemented Shopfloor‑Online integrated with Plastibell’s QAD MFG/Pro ERP, gauge management system and Sylvac multiplexer, and ingested non‑contact CMM measurement files to automate alerts, audit trails and certificates of analysis. The solution delivered real‑time visibility of cavity performance, automated out‑of‑spec and calibration alerts, reduced setup and scheduling errors, enabled cavity blocking to avoid extended downtime, saved operator time through automatic reporting, and meets CFR21 Part 11 requirements—results Plastibell Group is now rolling out to additional sites.
