Self-Learn Read and Spell modernizes 3 learning zones with Lightflows

Self-Learn Read and Spell (SLRS), a program designed to help severely dyslexic children learn to read and spell, approached Lightflows to modernize its legacy software. The challenge was to transition the program's website from Adobe ColdFusion and its games from the retired Flash platform to new technologies, while also ensuring an omnichannel experience for users on devices like tablets.

Lightflows re-engineered the backend using Laravel Nova for an improved management system and rebuilt the educational games using the Unity platform. The solution included a new licensing system via Stripe and resulted in a technologically successful transformation. The modernized platform provides a solid footing to support SLRS and its users with an engaging, educational experience for years to come.
