Kootenai Care Network ACO Automates GPRO Reporting

Kootenai Care Network (KCN) of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho formed the Kootenai Accountable Care ACO to participate in the Medicare Shared Savings Program and faced a time‑consuming GPRO reporting challenge: quality measures required manual clinical abstraction across multiple provider groups and disparate EHRs. Kootenai Care Network engaged Lightbeam Health Solutions and used Lightbeam’s Population Health Management Platform and GPRO module to automate extraction and consolidation of clinical data.

Lightbeam Health Solutions integrated clinical, claims, and social data from 25 disparate EMRs into its enterprise data warehouse and used the GPRO module to pre‑populate CMS reporting. The solution automatically closed 57% of GPRO gaps (2,544 gaps), reduced clinician labor by 12,722 minutes, and cut the manual reporting workdays for Kootenai Care Network’s 3,164 beneficiaries from 46.5 to 20, enabling faster submissions and improved care-gap closure.
