SurveyMonkey, an online survey company, partnered with Liftoff to grow its FreeShield VPN app for Android. Their challenge was to increase app downloads while specifically lowering their cost per VPN activation, and they required a full-service partner to manage their user acquisition campaigns.
Liftoff utilized AppsFlyer data to build lookalike models and then managed creative development and A/B testing for the campaign. As a result, Liftoff significantly improved all key metrics, including a 37.3% reduction in VPN activation costs and a 152.2% increase in the click-to-install rate over a ten-month period.
